Adam Sandler reprises his role as Happy, an explosive amateur hockey player who takes up golf. He was spotted with his golf club during filming last September on the beaches of Highlands, New Jersey.

In the original film, Happy stands out for his unique style and powerful swing, defying golf conventions to become a star. Fans can’t wait to find out how the iconic character, played by Adam Sandler, has evolved over time.

Actor Ben Stiller was spotted filming in Kearny, New Jersey, in November.

Ben Stiller makes his return in the sequel, reprising the role of Hal L. the abusive, cruel and malevolent nurse working in a nursing home, which he played in the original film.

The first photos from the shoot suggest that Stiller’s character is as fascinating as ever!

In addition to Ben Stiller, Christopher McDonald reprises his role as Shooter McGavin, the arrogant antagonist and golf champion from the original film.

Actress Julie Bowen also reprises her role as Virginia in the anticipated sequel, a character who, in the original film, was the head of golf and became Happy’s love interest.

Let’s hope this sequel, produced by Netflix, pays tribute to one of the best films ever starring Adam Sandler.

Barring any delays, Happy Gilmore 2 is scheduled for release in spring 2025.
