At $300M, this is America’s most expensive house on the market

The house in question is located in Aspen, Colorado, and has been listed for sale on Sotheby’s for $300m (US). It measures 27,426 square feet and has 45 parking spaces.

The house was built in 1994 by billionaires Stewart and Lynda Resnick, who fell in love with this warm region.

The outdoor grounds are calculated at over 29,000 square feet, including a garden well stocked with plants and flowers.

With its chalet-like feel due to its wood construction, the house has 18 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms. Apparently, the master bedroom is larger than most New York apartments, according to Lynda Resnick.

From its grounds, the house has a direct view of the Rocky Mountains, a popular attraction in Colorado.

The house was designed by Peter Dominick, the architect behind Disneyland’s Grand California Hotel & Spa.

Situated in the heart of nature, the property is surrounded by several waterways, with docks available for fishing and boat trips.

A spa has been installed in one of the rooms, to relax after a busy day’s work.
