Introducing Aston Martin’s all-new James Bond-inspired car. If you’re in the UK, you can see it for yourself!
The car
The Aston Martin DB12 Goldfinger Edition car was created to celebrate 60 years since the first appearance of an Aston Martin in the popular James Bond films.
The exhibition
The magnificent car is on display at London’s Burlington Arcade until December 31, 2024 at the 007 exhibition, which also includes a boutique and two luxury bars.
Aston Martin DB5
The Aston Martin DB5, which featured in the 1964 James Bond film, was the inspiration for the creation of the Aston Martin DB12 Goldfinger Edition.
The exterior of the car
On the outside, we can see the magnificent Silver Birch paintwork. This 4.0-liter car also boasts a twin-turbo V8 engine.
Inside the car
Inside the car, many details are gold-plated and inspired by James Bond’s luxurious style. The driver’s seats are trimmed in the same design as the DB5, and several elements have been retained from James Bond’s Goldfinger suit.
Engraved plaque
The car features a plate engraved with the Prince of Wales motif to celebrate 60 years of partnership between Aston Martin and James Bond.
Eight of hearts
An eight of hearts is embroidered in red on the sun visor. A small detail that definitely makes all the difference!
The wheels
The car’s wheels feature silver 21″ multi-spoke rims and black brake calipers.
Gold ornament
On the side of the car, a gold ornament draws air from the front wheel arches to improve vehicle stability, among other things.
