These are the words Joe Biden allegedly uttered to his advisers in the Oval Office shortly after Russia invaded Ukraine, according to what is reported in renowned journalist Bob Woodward’s new book, War.

As CNN obtained a copy of the book by Woodward, the famed investigative journalist best known for exposing the Watergate scandal that led to Richard Nixon’s resignation, several behind-the-scenes revelations about the Oval Office emerged.
These include President Joe Biden’s reaction and comments following Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
In private statements, the president didn’t hesitate to express his opinion on who was responsible for this war, which began on February 24, 2022, just days after the close of the Beijing Winter Olympics.
“Putin is evil. We’re dealing with the epitome of evil.”
Bob Woodward’sWar will be available from October 15, and it contains many more revelations about Biden… but also about Donald Trump.
