Pokémon collectors and puzzle enthusiasts now have a new challenge to tackle… and it's simply massive.
Ravensburger, recognized as one of the world's leading puzzle manufacturers, has just opened pre-orders for its impressive Pokémon Celebration puzzle, an extraordinary creation that pushes the boundaries of the genre.
Comprising no fewer than 40,320 pieces, this monumental puzzle spans over 22 feet in length when assembled, making it one of the most impressive officially licensed Pokémon merchandise items ever released.
Priced at approximately $730 (US), it's aimed not only at puzzle enthusiasts but also at collectors seeking an exceptional piece. According to Ravensburger, it's one of the largest officially licensed puzzles ever produced worldwide—a feat that attests to the immense popularity of the franchise created nearly 30 years ago.
With hundreds of Pokémon gathered in a colorful, richly detailed illustration, this puzzle promises dozens, if not hundreds, of hours of fun.
One thing is certain: it will take patience, space… and a good dose of determination to tackle this true cardboard behemoth.

Pre-order Details
Among all the Pokémon merchandise unveiled this year, this giant puzzle is undoubtedly one of the most surprising. It's aimed at collectors, but also at enthusiasts ready to take on a long-term challenge. After all, catching all the Pokémon is one thing; assembling 40,320 pieces is quite another!
Pre-orders are now open for $729.99 (US) on Amazon, and the official release date is set for October 7, 2026, in the United States.
With its massive illustration featuring a host of the franchise's iconic creatures, this puzzle promises to become a sought-after collector's item as soon as it launches.
As Pokémon continues to celebrate its legacy with new games, cards, toys, and exclusive merchandise, this creation once again demonstrates the franchise's ability to captivate generations of fans with increasingly ambitious and original products.

Size Comparisons
Although this Pokémon puzzle is impressive in size, this isn't Ravensburger's first such feat.
The company already offers the gigantic “Memorable Disney Moments,” a 40,320-piece puzzle that has exactly the same format. On a global scale, however, these creations are still far from the all-time record.
According to Guinness World Records, the largest puzzle ever assembled had 551,232 pieces. Created by 1,600 students at the University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, this immense mosaic measured nearly 15 meters by 23 meters.
As for products sold to the general public, the benchmark remains What a Wonderful World, designed by Dowdle. This commercial puzzle contains 60,000 pieces, divided into 60 puzzles of 1,000 pieces each, and spans nearly 29 feet in length.
Its price is around $1,299 (US), making it a true collector's item.

We thought completing the Pokédex was the ultimate challenge. As it turns out, finding the right spot among 40,320 pieces might be even more complicated.
One thing is certain: you'd better have a very large table… and plenty of free time!
